Float Trip
Timothy and I went on a canoe trip last weekend with some friends. We had a great time. We spent all day Saturday floating down a river in Missouri and of course jumping off of things into the water. We took our dog and she loved it. But, she had a bit of an accident. We found a small cliff to jump off of so we got out of the canoes and kayaks and climbed to the top. Kaya came with and started running around. Then, when we found a place to jump off, one of our friends started running toward the edge. Well, Kaya tried to follow him but she didn't make it to the water. She started rolling down the side. We climbed down and brought her back up but she was still a little scared. She cried for awhile but she is just fine now. It seems like her and Brady both need a lesson about falling off of things.

So the other day I woke up and went to get some cereal. After pouring my cereal I went to get some milk but I didn't See it in the fridge. I was sure we had quite a bit of milk left and I knew we didn't use it all. I asked Liz where the milk was and she said with an attitude, "um, in the fridge." After I told her it wasn't there we looked around and were puzzled at where the milk could have gone. She had just used it a couple minutes ago for her breakfast so it has to be somewhere. Well, it turns out Liz needs a little more sleep, we found the milk...
Brady went to the big swimming pool for the first time the other day. We have a small blow up pool in the back patio area but we didn't know how he would like the bigger, colder pool. The pool itself was a little too cool for him. He didn't cry about it but we could tell that we wasn't comfortable. The hot tub wasn't being used and the water was warm, not hot, so we decided to see how he liked it. He did well and I think we will take another trip soon.
Brady also likes to be perched on our couch and look out the window at the trees!
